My new CD, Souvenir, in 2008 was named one of the TOP 25 list again..for 3rd times was on "echoes" on PRI..once at the #6 ...slot. Go to echoes.org and punch in Joe Euro in their search box and see all the airplay Joe has received over the years! They are currently featuring 3 tracks off Joe's new CD in rotation let's hope they discover they like a few more tracks too and keep it in rotation for many more months/years. The High Road continued to receive airplay well in to 2001 and it was released in 1994. Any of my fans that would submit reviews on line to my pages on Amazon.com or CD Baby can easily do so too, as well as email "echoes" about how much you really love and can't possibly live without Joe Euro's music on a daily basis, or something like that anyway.

Inspired by amazing journeys and incredible people Joe
Euro has known along the way.

"Eyes On The Horizon" reflects the nautical journeys Joe and his
family and friends enjoy so much, and is told that his music takes people
on journeys too, if only for the duration of the pieces while listening.
One piece in particular, titled: "Then They Were Gone" reminds many
listeners of the whales, both for their beauty and majesty, as they surface,
then disappear again below the dark waters, and then also for the sadness that
these creatures are somewhat endangered.
Other tracks like "Underway" and the title track,"Eyes On The
Horizon", are bright and uplifting, reflecting the joy and excitement form
untying the boat from a moorage, or pulling up the anchor and getting underway!

The title track, "The High Road" is a lively, upbeat Scottish feeling
piece, in a DADGAD tuning. Technically brilliant, with the familiar intro/quote
of the Scottish classic "You Take The Low Road, And I'll The High Road..."
The track "Child's Play" is another soft, uplifting musical journey,
featuring Joe's children's laughter at the beginning, and again at the close
of the piece, which is also in DADGAD, with acoustic piano (played by Euro too)
and some lead improv.
The back tray card of the CD features a beautiful photo of a "High Road...trail" in
the North Cascades of Washington State. Find
it at Amazon.com..
